Our story

A family yard, opening its gates once again

Faircote has been home to horses on the edge of the Ashdown Forest for around thirty years. In 2026 it came into new hands: a family of riders and carriage drivers who want to see the yard full of life again.

We are starting with what matters most: good grazing, safe stabling, well-kept surfaces and a warm welcome for every horse and rider. There are big plans to come, and we would love you to be part of them.

Carriage driving

Ridden or driven, you are welcome

Faircote is run by carriage drivers. Driving horses and ponies are as welcome on our livery as ridden ones, and our arenas are open to drivers for hire.
