Ashdown Forest

Ride straight out onto the forest

From the bottom of our land, a short walk along Chuck Hatch Lane takes you onto the forest.

Your back garden

Heathland, woodland and long views

Ashdown Forest is one of the largest open spaces in the South East, with almost no roadwork needed to reach it from Faircote. It is the forest that inspired Winnie-the-Pooh, and it is right on the doorstep.

RIDING PERMIT Horse riding on the forest needs a permit from the Conservators of Ashdown Forest. Visiting without one? Use one of ours with Park & Ride.
